As CFO of Sod Solutions, a leading turfgrass genetics licensing company, he managed global royalty programs, navigated IP enforcement across dozens of markets, and worked directly with breeders and growers.

That experience shaped his conviction that the world's best breeding programs deserve a permanent, committed partner. He saw firsthand how proprietary plant varieties, protected by Plant Breeders' Rights and Plant Patents, create durable, high margin, recurring revenue streams that compound over decades. He also saw the challenges. Small breeding programs stretched thin trying to enforce IP across multiple continents. Addison holds a B.S. in Financial Management from Clemson University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He lives in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina with his wife Rebecca and their four children, Jak, Jennie Lee, George, and Libby.
